引きこもっていたいわゆるニートなどを
大企業が進んで雇ってくれるかといえば、
答えは絶対的にノーである。

こうした問題に対する取り組みとして参考になるのは、
ソーシャルファームの考え方ではないか。

これはもともと１９７０年代の北イタリア、
トリノの近くの障害者支援の活動から発生した
草の根運動である。
精神病院の患者が「地域へ出たい」と言っても
はっきり言って仕事がない。
そうであれば「自分たちで仕事をつくろう」というのが、
ソーシャルファームの動きなのだ。

現在ではドイツのシュタイナー共同体をモデルとした
ソーシャルファームがフランスやオランダをはじめ、
アメリカ、日本など様々な国で実験的に作られている。
